About the Event
The Haunted Rail Tour was founded in 2023 as a fundraiser for The North Coast Repertory Theatre, the Timber Heritage Association, and the Clarke Museum. As an entirely volunteer-run nonprofit fundraiser, all the proceeds go to these three arts and historical organizations.
Located in Samoa at the Timber Heritage Association, the HRT looks to provide R-rated scares for adults, and some milder fun for the rest of the family. Comprised of volunteers from all walks of life, the HRT is as dedicated to building a haunt community in Humboldt as we are to raising money for our nonprofit partners.
As we grow, the HRT is looking to partner with local organizations to positively affect as much of Humboldt County as possible. For example, we don’t charge vendor fees for our Night Market, and we are the only haunted event in Humboldt to work with accessibility coordinators to ensure the fun is both safe and accessible to all.
